You forgot that ash have a charizard too but dragonite and charizard they are only flying type in final form evolution so they are not pure flying type because dratini and dragonair can't fly in orde to fly they have to evolve in final

He caught Dragonite in its "final evolution", not when it was still a Dratini or Dragonair, so he technically still 'caught' a flying Type =w=

this isn't really new, even in the old anime it happened on occasion. hell, both lysarde and cyrus outright attempted to commit genocide and the team rocket trio convinced pokemon to try to attack ash on multiple occasions.

After today's episode... I have the feeling that Roy is going to be the one catching the most Pokemons, him and the Wattrel were destined to each other, but such thing hasn't happened to Liko so far... so either she will remain only with Sprigatito, or perhaps a new partner is waiting for her later on besides that mysterious legendary Pokemon she carries in the locket.

If anything, I'm liking this new villain so far, he's the type of dangerous bad guys because he's actually being smart on his approach... makes me wonder how the gang will handle him, oh and by the way... IONO NEXT EPISODE, I REPEAT, IONO NEXT EPISODE! Now that's gonna be a blast, specially if she and Dot make a collab together!

This is what a perfect 2 v 1 domination looks like. Ash has definetely been in such situations but it was never this brutal. And ofc the dark terastallisation was to be expected. All terastalisation so far has been well utilised.
Roy and Wattrel are so cute together can't wait to see it evolve into a Kilowattrel.

villains with underleveled pokemon again or fred got him a lvl 100 charizard otherwise would have fainted from those elec atks
also real villain using real villainous methods like hypnosis with the right pokemon, been a while since last time where mass hypnosis happened

It's still frustrating to see the characters falling to obvious traps... But at least this time the villains knows how to set them up.

After 25 years of Pokemon, I'm used to seeing the heroes fall for the villains tricks in the most dumb ways possible.

At least the villains are a real menace this time. They're definitely not Team Rocket tier villains.

kinda sad that "Team Rocket" has becoming a slapstick joke, they are suppose to be an evil corp that use pokemon for illegal activities, it's too non-PC for 2020 ain't it.
